Module 03

Three DCs. One account. Each yard with its own voice.

Docklyx splits the company (billing, users, audit) from the DC (docks, yard, hours, service levels). A user can work Bajio in the morning and Tultitlan in the afternoon without logging out. Carriers only see the DCs they're allowed in. Billing stays as one.

Module anatomy

One company on top. Many DCs below. Users in the middle.

The company holds what it buys from Docklyx (plan, integrations, audit, user list). The DC holds how that yard runs (docks, hours, policies). Every operation — booking, check-in, alert — is born tied to a specific DC.

Sub-features

Eight pieces to run N yards as one.

01Switcher

Swap DCs in one click.

Your active DC is stored on your profile. Refresh and you stay there. Switch and the whole panel re-filters without re-auth.

02Per-DC isolation

Each yard's data stays in its yard.

Bookings, docks, yard, check-ins, alerts and incidents are tied to the DC where they happen. A Bajio manager will not — cannot — see Tultitlan's ops.

03Admin sees all

Elevated roles, no friction.

If you're admin or manager at the company level, you don't need a grant per DC: you can activate any site and see the rolled-up view.

04Per-site policy

Each DC with its rules.

Hours, booking slot length, buffer between bookings, on-time window, detention rate, dwell calculation model. What varies by ops lives on the DC.

05Carrier grants

Access per site, not wholesale.

Each carrier is assigned to the DCs where they can operate. To book at a yard, they need explicit access to that yard — a company account is not enough.

06Dual analytics

Per DC and per company.

One dashboard gives you one site's KPIs; another rolls them up across the company. Every booking is stamped with its company and its DC, so cross-site reporting is free.

07Safe deactivation

No orphan users.

Deactivating a DC reassigns affected users to another site, clears their active session, marks the yard inactive. Historical ops stay audited.

08One bill, N DCs

A single invoice.

One company = one subscription. The plan caps how many DCs can be open (Trial 1, Starter 1, Pro 3, Enterprise unlimited). No crossed invoices, no per-yard account.

What lives where

What belongs to the company. What belongs to the yard.

Golden rule: what varies by how a yard runs lives on the DC. What represents the company as a Docklyx customer lives on the company.

Billing and subscription

Cross-company history — useful for compliance.
COMPANY

COMPANY
Plate blacklist
If a driver is toxic, they're toxic at every DC.

Docks and dock calendar
Each yard has its own count and dock types.
DC
Yard zones and layout
The eagle-view layout is per site. Yards aren't the same.

Bookings · turnaround · sequences
Bookings are born tied to a site and also stamped with the company for cross-site reporting.

Check-ins and guard rounds
The gate is physical. Each DC has its own.

End to end

A day in the life of three DCs.

No one needs emails or spreadsheets to coordinate sites. Everything ties to the DC where it happens.

07:00
Admin creates a DC

Onboards Bajio with timezone, hours and slot. Inherits base config from the company.

01
07:08
Invites 3 managers

Mario and Lourdes get email. Each comes with Bajio permissions. Lourdes also Sonora and Tultitlan.

02
07:30
Uploads yard layout

Drags docks, zones and gates until it matches the real yard. Saved per site.

03
08:00
Mario enters Bajio

His active DC is Bajio. Sees only Bajio bookings, alerts and tasks.

04
11:20
Lourdes switches to Sonora

One click to swap the active DC. Panel reloads: different bookings, yard, alerts.

05
14:00
Carrier books at Tultitlan

Via portal; the system validates the carrier has access to that DC. Booking is born tied to Tultitlan and the company.

06
16:45
Admin sees all 3 DCs at once

Analytics roll up per-DC. Sees who's doing well, who needs help, without context-switching.

07
17:10
End-of-month billing

One subscription per company. Plan caps how many DCs can be open. Billing doesn't know about yards.

08

What it moves

Four levers when you scale to many yards.

3×
DCs per admin

One admin who used to run one site now runs three without opening more tabs.

-82%
Consolidation spreadsheets

Stop emailing rollups between sites. Consolidated KPIs are native.

0
Cross-site data leaks

The system prevents a manager from seeing bookings or incidents at the wrong DC — filtered in the backend, not trusting the front end.

-45%
New-site onboarding time

Spin up a new DC with base config. Layout and docks no longer rebuilt by hand.

Measured across customers running 3–7 DCs · Q1 2026.
Module questions

Things people ask in the demo.

If it's not here, sales replies same-day — not a form into the void.

Trial and Starter are single-site. Pro up to 3. Enterprise has no cap. If you grow during trial, we extend it — we want you to feel the value before switching plan.
Yes. Each user has a list of DCs they can access. When they switch the active DC, the whole panel reloads with that site's ops. Company admin/managers bypass — they see all DCs.
You don't. Filtering happens in the backend — not a front-end hide. If someone forces the URL, the database returns zero rows. Same goes for docks, yard, alerts and incidents.
Yes. Hours, timezone, slot duration, turnaround buffer, on-time threshold, detention rate and the dwell model live on the DC. What varies by how the site runs, lives on the site.
One subscription per company. The plan defines how many DCs can be active. No crossed invoices, no per-yard account.
Yes. Deactivating reassigns affected users, clears their active DC and marks the site inactive. Historical bookings, check-ins and alerts remain — visible in reports, not in ops.
