Not an opinion score. D (delivery) composes punctuality, no-shows, incidents, efficiency. C (cost) benchmarks the carrier's avg dwell cost against the distribution center. Q (quality) mixes docs-complete and driver rating captured at check-out.
Drag D·C·Q weights, toggle dimensions off, and watch the carrier ranking update in real time.
D is the behavioral score — what ops teams always called "reliability". C translates ops into money: how much this carrier costs you. Q is the guard's voice and the checklist. The backend composes the three with configurable weights and auto-redistributes if any of them is unavailable.
Short window (40%) + long window (60%) blend with daily history for trend visualization.
When the grade drops, the carrier gets an automatic email. Configurable per DC (opt-out available).
Radar visualization comparing carrier performance against the DC average.
19 configurable parameters in carrier scoring policy: weights, penalties, thresholds — per DC.
If a carrier arrives more than the configured window before the slot, punctuality drops. A carrier arriving 40 min early blocks a dock — the score reflects it without a manager having to intervene.
In the post check-out panel the guard marks docs complete, rates the driver, and if it's ≤ 2 ⭐ classifies the incident (aggressive, no PPE, false docs, bribery, etc.). All of it feeds the score.
The detail page radar compares the carrier's punctuality, no-shows, incidents, efficiency, docs and rating against the average of all DC carriers. Only shows when there are ≥ 2 carriers — a single data point isn't a benchmark.
The carrier portal exposes their own aggregate score. If it dropped, they see why. If it rose, they see what moved it. Transparency as an incentive.
Every QCD dimension is fed by events already happening: the gate QR, the dock close, the guard's post-checkout panel.
Nothing is manual. The score lives off the event stream your gate and docks already generate.
Admin fixes per-DC D·C·Q weights, detention rate and on-time window. Defaults 50/30/20.
Gate QR check-in. Punctuality is stamped — and how early/late vs. the slot. D adjusts.
Dwell clock runs. If it takes 2× longer, efficiency drops.
Guard marks docs complete and rates 1–5. If ≤ 2 they classify the incident. Q enters the engine.
Actual hours × DC rate = dwell cost. Rolls into carrier avg, updates C.
Daily snapshot per carrier: D, C, Q, 7d and 30d scores. Stored in the site history.
If B→C, the system fires an email to the carrier. Per-DC opt-out from the site policy.
A-carriers front of waitlist. D and F get extra buffer. Slot proposals go to the manager.
When A-carriers go to the front and D/Fs carry extra buffer, the yard's average dwell falls.
An automatic email when they drop a grade is, on average, enough to reactivate them.
Score-weighted slot-optimizer proposals use gaps that used to stay empty.
The grade is derived, auditable and shared with the carrier. No opinions in between.
