Module 01 · Foundation

The carrier books. You approve. Never two trucks in the same dock.

A separate portal where carriers build their booking in three steps. They get a QR via WhatsApp, arrive at the gate, the guard scans and the booking moves itself through every stage — with an exact time at each step, so reports tell the truth.

Module anatomy

Five people. One flow that moves itself.

Every booking passes through six clear stages. Five actors orbit around it — each one does a single thing and records the exact time, so alerts, scoring and reports don't depend on anyone capturing data by hand.

Sub-features

Eight things it already does.

01Booking

Three steps. Zero friction.

Pick DC, date, time and truck. Ends with a QR ready for the gate — not a dead 'thanks' page.

02Overbooking

Impossible.

If two bookings try to overlap on the same dock, the system rejects the second one on the spot. Plus a buffer between bookings so the dock can reset.

03Walk-ins

Solved in seconds.

If a truck arrives without a booking, the booking gets created at the gate with a single form. The system slots it in the yard and pings the yard operator immediately. No visibility lost.

04QR without apps

One link. No login.

The QR travels on WhatsApp as a plain link. The driver opens it in the browser, done. On exit, the guard scans the same QR to close the booking.

05Access control

Each role in its lane.

The guard only does guard work. The manager can reassign a dock and force exceptions with a reason. Everything is logged — nothing silently erased.

06Delay reasons

Delays get explained.

When a booking runs late, the reason is logged with a clear cause. The manager approves or adjusts. Separates responsibility: was it the carrier, your yard, or a line stop?

07Reschedule

Move the slot in one click.

A button moves the booking, revalidates availability and WhatsApps the driver. It stays in history — nothing silently overwritten.

08Rate on exit

Score the driver.

When the operation closes, the guard marks docs complete, adds stars and classifies incidents if any. Low ratings trigger an automatic alert to the admin.

Lifecycle

Seven main-flow stages. Three for closing.

The yard step is optional — DCs without yard zones go straight to the dock. Everything else is required — no stage is ever skipped.

01
Booked

The carrier picked a slot. The dock is held for that window.

Early closures · no return
No-show

The booking expired without arrival. Hurts the carrier's score.

Cancelled

Cancelled inside the window allowed by the DC policy.

Abandoned

Entered the yard but never left. The system raises an operational alert automatically.

End to end

One real booking, 6 hours in 8 steps.

Every time above is captured by the system automatically. Nobody logs it by hand.

Module questions

Things people ask in the demo.

If it's not here, sales replies same-day — not a form into the void.

You solve it in 10 seconds. Open 'New walk-in', confirm the driver's info, and the system creates the booking, slots it into the yard and raises a yard operator task. Counts toward your KPIs like any other.
Docks are protected: if two bookings try to overlap by even a minute, the system rejects the second one instantly. And we keep a configurable buffer between bookings so the dock can reset.
No. The QR arrives on WhatsApp as a plain link. They open it in the browser, done. On exit they show the same QR and the guard scans it for check-out. No account, no app, no password.
Depends on the policy you set. Configured per DC: how many hours ahead a carrier can self-cancel, and from when only you can. The carrier always sees the reason.
Yes, as admin or manager. The system asks for a reason and logs it with your name. The standard ±30-minute window is configurable per DC.
Yes. On Enterprise we send events to your system every time a booking changes stage, with full API, retries and duplicate control. On lower plans you export to CSV/Excel and schedule emailed reports.
